How can I give feedback on the event last night, the 8th of September 2016. How can I capture the hand of our Maker touching an individual on a Thursday night. Maybe I can just share this though; As I ended the eventful evening in the early hours of the next day, I found myself sitting at my dining table with a 74 year old disciple. The time is 01h00 and I'm having the pleasure of sharing memories with a man of God, double my age. I believe you can imagine, this was an experience in itself. He just smiled and accepted the little sleep with a thankfulness towards our Abba Father of an evening well spent. And there I found myself thankful, yet reminded of how much I need my Father.
As we fellowshipped, Mr Riaan calmly explained how real a tested faith is, how our faith is proven when we go out and live it ourselves. Yes, when we see for ourselves we achieve true faith, now "I really believe" would then be the words in our mouths!
We went to bed and finally I was sitting in silence, thinking about the "Prison Shaking Chain Breaker" God we serve. How he personally ministered to people's hearts and how He used friends and family to do so. Walking with people to their cars as they were leaving I was blessed by their life stories up to and including that evening. I could see a hand at work, my Father's hand. So no, I can't explain it. Furious love can't be explained but it can be accepted, it is as after all the Maker of the universe giving it freely, He already paid for it. No way without it!
It's even later now, so please ignore the grammar and or spelling mistakes, I'm tired. If you couldn't make the evening, no worries, it is Him you need. He is available and so are we. Call or check in at the next event next week.
